Penn State Scandal
Super Bowl XLII Repeat
The Giants and the Patriots met for the first time since Super Bowl XLII. The outcome was very similar, actually extremely similar. The game came down to another last minute run by Eli Manning and Giants. With 19 seconds left, Eli Manning threw another touchdown almost in the same fashion as Super Bowl XLII. It was a throw to the back left corner of the end zone where Jake Ballard stretched out for the catch. The Giants win 24-20.

Bradshaw has a history of ankle and foot ailments, and he underwent multiple surgeries early in 2010 to insert screws into both of his feet and to remove bone spurs from his right ankle. The Giants are not sure when Bradshaw will return. A source states that coach, Tom Coughlin, will address the media on Thursday.

Is The NFL Player's Union Stalling HGH Test?
On Friday, two lawmakers who want the NFL to test players for human growth hormone (HGH) say the player's union might be stalling to avoid putting the test in place. About two weeks ago these two men stated that after a meeting with the league and the union that there was a deal to begin collecting blood for testing. The union didn't agree, and told the NFL to "hold off". The player's did not think that this random HGH testing was fair. As seen in this quote, "Players have made it clear that the only priority is getting a testing procedure that is right and fair. That is what we will do."(espn.com)

I do agree with the fact that the NFL should be drug free, but it should be done in a fair way.

Rookies Must Step Up For Cowboys To Receive a Win
With Felix Jones out due to a high ankle sprain, the Cowboys thought they would be just fine with putting in Tashard Choice to take his spot. Choice started off a lot slower than the Cowboys expected only averaging 2.7 yards on 28 carries. The Cowboys released Choice on Saturday, now down to two rookie running backs, Demarco Murray and Phillip Tanner. Last week against the Rams Murray showed the Cowboys he may actually be what they are looking for when he set a team record for 252 rushing yards.
